Jumping on a trampoline might seem like harmless fun, but as with most things in life, it all depends on how you use it. Trampoline accidents are quite common, and a large majority of them could have been avoided with some forethought.
So what are common danger for your children if you have a trampoline? One of the most common reasons for injury on a trampoline is from people landing on each other. While it probably is the most common way to use a trampoline, having more than one person on it is very dangerous. Another danger that is avoidable is falling off of the trampoline. There should be netting installed around the trampoline, and you should make sure that it is firmly attached so it won’t allow a child to fall through it. You also need to make sure that your children are aware that jumping onto the trampoline from an elevated area can be disastrous, sending them flying off of the trampoline in the opposite direction.
